This is a story set in a village in Central Province. The story follows two Mau Mau fighters on the run from the British Army, who takes refuge in the home of an Asian shopkeeper. The story is about what happens in the night when the Mau Mau fighters have to interact with the Asian shopkeeper's family and make their way out of the village, away from their pursuers- the British Army. Kiboi Kuria Peter is a 10 year veteran of film, radio and television having started out as a writer then graduating into directing and producing. Kiboi is a winner of back to back International Emmys (2015 & 2016) in Children and Young People category for his input as a writer on the social commentary radio drama ShujaazFM. More than anything Kiboi loves to play god by creating memorable multi layered characters. He has a keen interest in portraying in his works personal internal struggles as well as questions of morality and its ambiguity thereof.
